Första utav 12 månader.

Jag har två masker att förvalta, två masker som arbetats fram ur Torbjörn Ahlströms händer och själ. Nu är det min tur att låta resan fortsätta. Tillsammans med My Areskoug (mimare och regissör) ska jag låta mig inspireras utav lusten att skapa en start till ett kollektivt konstnärskap. Vad resultatet blir när första månaden är slut, är de ingen som vet, men när jag tittar på maskerna ser jag att de döljer en hemlighet.

 

Jag heter Jimmy Meurling, min erfarenhet utav skapande är både omfattande och smal, jag har gjort mycket och tillika ingenting. Men så är det nog många som tänker inom teatervärlden. Arbete med en produktion är massiv, upplevelsen efter premiär eller spelperiod är tomhet. Därför ska de bli spännande att se skapandet fortsätta i 11 månader efter vår inverkan/påverkan.

 

Idag, 11 januari 2009 träffades jag och My för att se vad vi vill göra. Vi ska utgå ifrån att träffas en dag varje helg månaden ut. Efter första mötet där vi diskuterat vad vi är intresserade av, gjorde vi även en kort fotosession.

 

Jag återkommer…

I have two masks to administrate, two masks developed from the hands and mind of Torbjorn Alstrom. Now it's my turn to make this journey continue. Together with My Areskoug ( director and a mime actress ) I will let myself be inspired out of the pure joy of creating a start to a collective artistry. What the result will be at the end of this first month noone knows, but when I look upon the masks I can see that they are hiding a secret.

My name is Jimmy Meurling, me experience of the creation of art is wide and in the same time narrow, I have done a lot and in the same time just very little. But I guess that is the truth for many people inside the theatre world. To work with a production is intense and the feeling after the opening is often a sence of emptyness. Therefor this will be very exciting to follow this journey's turns during these 12 months.

Today, the 11th of January, me and My met for the first time. We will be meeting each weekend throughout January. After our first meeting we also made a short photosession.
